[KANSAS CITY, Missouri, November 21, 2023] - The National Association of Farm Broadcasters (NAFB) presented Lorrie Boyer with the prestigious 2023 Farm Broadcaster of the Year award. This award is bestowed upon individuals who exemplify unwavering dedication, acknowledging the pivotal role the individual plays in the agriculture industry and their communities.


With over 25 years of experience in farm broadcasting, Boyer has exhibited remarkable expertise covering agricultural issues, ranging from local to national significance. Her extensive work includes delivering daily national agriculture news reports, conducting ag newsmaker interviews, and offering commodity market reports as the Farm News Director for KSIR Radio in Fort Morgan, Colorado.
